Devamritham vaidyasala, located at Chavara, Kollam district of Kerala is serving people for more than 100 years. This was founded by Late Chavara Govindapilla Vaidyan. We provide all kind of ayurvedic therapies also we are using the same time-tested treatments and medicines following the footsteps of our ancestors.

OUR TRADITION
Chavara Govindapillai vaidyan, the physician to Travancore dynasty, was a legend in the field of ayurveda in Southern Kerala. He had vast experience in the field of Ayurveda and a wide range of patients. He founded the Chavara Vaidyashala at Titanium Junction near KMML, Chavara, a century ago. This was a hub for many budding doctors for doing their internship, who went on to become Ayurvedic wizards.
His son-in-law and the son of M K Govindapillai vaidyan, T G Vasudevan Nair vaidyan (Kochuvaidyar) is the founder of this pioneering hospital. He combined the knowledge attained from Govindapillai vaidyan and his own practical experiences to become a luminary in Ayurvedic treatment. He was the last resort to the patients suffering from many chronic ailments.
After Kochuvaidyar the hospital was run under the guidance of Anandavalliyamma (Kochu vaidyar’s wife) and Late Dr. Ramachandran Nair (Rajanpillai vaidyar). Presently the hospital is run by Dr. Devi Krishna, the grand-daughter of Kochu vaidyar.
Tradition of all these legendary vaidyas which were handed down are preserved and used for the betterment of the patients.
